Towne Machine Tool Company acquired the vacuum filling product line from Modern Machine to create TMT Vacuum Fillers. It utilizes vacuum filling of chemicals and powders that are problematic to fill due to density and fluid-like qualities.

Towne has also partnered with Preiser Scientific to provide Holmes Brothers sampling equipment to the minerals industry for laboratory use and quality checks.
